Students, their parents, teachers and school staff will form a school community to research, redesign and rebuild their school and create new architecture, which will fit them all. An interdisciplinary team of architects, designers and artists will assist them along the way to make their journey pleasant and fruitful.
3 PART SERIES
Part 1
Students, their parents, teachers and school staff will form a school community with the help of a team of architects, designers and artists and find out what they want to change to make their school a better place.
Part 2
A series of educational workshops with architects, during which, students will design their projects and present them to school community at the public exhibition. The best project will be selected by the professional jury.
Part 3
A professional working project will be designed on the basis of the winning project. The project will be implemented/constructed by a construction company. A public opening of the implemented project will be organized for all the school community and guests to celebrate the outcomes of the RETHINKING SCHOOL project.
